About Our Homes

Ashwood House has been established since 2017 and is rated Outstanding by Ofsted from August 2019-Februray 2024 (4 and half years). It is a detached Victorian house and has four bedrooms, a staff bedroom, three bathrooms,  conservatory,  living room,  dining room,  kitchen, office, enclosed garden and a detached outhouse which has various uses depending on needs of the children. 


Alderwood House, opened December 2019, rated Good, is also a detached two storey home with four bedrooms,  a staff bedroom,  sensory/ therapy room,  office,  living room,  dining room,  conservatory,  outhouse, enclosed garden and three bathrooms and one WC additionally. 


Amberwood House is a detached two storey home and larger than the other two original homes with two living room areas, a conservatory, utility room, kitchen and shower room with office on first floor. Second floor has a staff bedroom, 4 children bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large play/therapy room. Amberwood has a large garden and drive to accommodate staff and visitor parking in a rural suburban area in South Derbyshire. Amberwood House was opened in April 2022 and is also rated Good. The living areas in all properties are large to facilitate any defusing of situations/ improve mental wellbeing and the areas they are located in have local stores, cinemas, and shopping centres as well as essential pharmacies, GP surgeries, dentists and schools. ​

Applewood House is a detached 2 bedded bungalow in a cul-de-sac with wheelchair access if required. It boasts a quiet garden and is very spacious inside with large rooms and serene lighting. It has a staff bedroom, 2 en-suite childrens bedrooms and a separate main bathroom. a large modern kitchen with a dining area and a therapy room. There is plenty of parking on the drive for up to 4 cars.
